This Weeks Tipper prize

is a $10 voucher
from the fabby Stitchy Bear Stamps

'Stitchy Bear Stamps was created when a good friend of mine Sue from Beary Dust Stamps and I (Stitchy) were selling our products in the same store. One day we got an unexpected email saying that the store was shutting down and when we went to the store, poof it was gone...So, after the dust cleared and several emails later, Stitchy Bear Stamps was born. We gathered all the other creator's from the original store and away we went. It has been quite a learning experience but none the less we are growing everyday with new fabulous creators. I have always believed when God closes one door another Bigger and Better one opens ;)... Thank you all who have read our little story, I do hope you enjoyed ;) stitchy aka stitchy stamps."

To be in with a chance of this fantastic Tipper Prize leave a short Top Tip in your write-up on your blog and add (TIP) after your name in Mr Linky.
You MUST add (TIP) to be in the running for this prize.
If you've not we may miss your tip!

So here comes the DT's inspiration and Tips this week..

Tip: When printing a silhouette colour your background first and dry then print the silhouette, this way you avoid smudging, I have used distress inks with a brayer.

Tip: Add embellishments like buttons or dew drops in sets of 3; Its a good in between number.

Tip: For my Ranger Ink Blending foam I use a simple wooden cube, you can stick 4 Blending foam on 1 cube.

Here's a picture of the Cube
Leave the foam on the cube, so you must not change the foam for other colours.

Using - Hester Hen

Tip: Remove Staz On ink with a cotton bud and nail polish remover.

Tip: Clean out your stash of older papers by punching as many shapes as you can. Then when you need that last minute card you can play around with those punched papers to make a quick card with loads of layers.

Lisa
Using -
Summer Fun Silhouette

Tip: If you're ever in a pinch for 3D dots, save the excess rubber from your new stamps.
Cut it to desired size, apply adhesive to non-stick side and now you have an instant quick fix.

Tip - Before colouring a background with chalks, stamp some pattern with Versa Mark ink. Then chalk and make a more interesting background.

Using - Hester Hen

Tip : Shade the ground underneath your image,
and put a slightly darker colour immediately underneath the character
to suggest the appearance of a shadow.

Tip: if your card topples over due to materials used, cut a small section from the back of the card at an angel (larger at the opening getting smaller towards the middle).

using...Kelley Kid's - Summer Fun Silhouette

Tip: Cut around elements of your image then place your Nestie and lift the cut sections
over the edge - cut and some elements will be overlapping!

Tip 2: Carol coloured her white pearls with a dark blue Promarker,
they didn't match the pale blue pin heads - so she coloured them too!

Tammy Louise
Tip: Colour around the cut edges with felt marker for the edges to appear smoother.
Emboss tool will curl paper,

Tammy's Sentiment reads: Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail!
Tip 2: Paper Only, no ribbon, buttons, glitter or flowers, how clever!
