This weeks Challenge is Thank you
Hi, It's my turn Elaine for a tutorial this week. I have chosen a Thank you
theme, This could be any kind of a thank you.
I have made a little box and decorated it with lovely hearts and flowers.
Here's an easy Tutorial of how to make one.
Cut a piece on card 12cm x 12cm square.
Crease 3cm in from each edge.
Snip down 3cm on the opposite creases (on two sides only).
Fold creases and glue tabs in place to make the box base.
Then cut a strip of card 18cm x 7.5cm
Score at 7.5cm and 10.5cm as shown.
Place the box to the first crease on the strip of card and glue in place,
leaving a small border on the other 3 sides.
This forms the basic box (like a book) and can now be decorated as desired.
To secure closed tie a length of ribbon around the box and tie a bow.
I added a small heart tag to complete my box.
Fill with goodies... yum!
I hope you enjoy my tutorial.
This weeks lovely sponsors are:
1 prize of 3 digi stamps of your choice
A bit about The Stamping Boutique: I'm Tracey Malnofski, the artist and owner of The Stamping Boutique. My team and I are very happy to sponsor Top Tip Tuesday. My store has been open since September 2009. I've worked for InStyleStamps, Squigglefly, and TheDigiShack. I'm a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in my community. I have quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It's noisy, but I love them all. I'm truly blessed. "The Stamping Boutique" is dedicated to quality products and original artwork. We not only provide wonderful digital images in our store, but also several lines of red rubber images. Our designers are chosen for their character and personality,as well as, their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best. Thank you so much for having us as your sponsor this week.
