Hi, my name is Heather Sparey and DigiSparkle is my 4th child! (5th if you include my DH). I am a stay at home mum and I enjoy papercrafting and card making as it gives my a little bit of 'me' time.
DigiSparkle came about because I have limited funds so I can only afford stamps now and then so I decided to create some of my own. I hope you like the result! Please checkout my blog 'A Sprinkle of DigiSparkle' and tell me what you think of DigiSparkle's designs, if there are any themes you struggle to find (I can but try...) and I would love to see any creations that feature a DigiSparkle design

To leave a Tip please leave a picture in Mr Linky linked to the post containing your Top Tip, after adding your name also add 'TIP'.
Don't forget to mention in your post that you are entering your Tip for the TTT Top Tipper and link back here.

Now onto our DT with their 'Open Challenge' makes and of course their Top Tips...

Don't forget to pop over to visit their blogs - I'm sure you'll pick up many more tips!

------------------------

My Top Tip...
Keep all your small pieces of ribbon and you can then make a ruffled flower by sewing them altogether!

My Top Tip...
Use scraps of paper/card to make fridge magnets, tags or small bookmarks.

Another from Elaine

My Top Tip...
Keep small off-cuts of card/paper to make small flower embellishments

My Top Tip...
Be like Rachel Ray, kinda. Keep a bowl, or tray on your work table to toss those scraps that are a little small for use on their own, but too big to toss. Then when you are working on a project that needs that special something, dive in to the "table scraps". I've often found the "just right" bit-o-something from my "table scraps" that really makes that project pop. :)

My Top Tip...
To make your own glass effect gems pipe some dots of glossy accents onto your
non stick craft sheet leave to dry for 24 hours & then
colour with your copic or pro markers or alcohol inks.

My Top Tip...
Look for empty interesting packaging when you go to the grocery store. I pick up mint tins at the check-out and then cover them (when empty) with paper or metal tape to create a clever gift wrap or mini book container.

Using DigiSparkle's 'Teddies' printed onto Shrink Plastic to make a Keyring.
Pop over to my blog for more info on the Jeans Bag and printing onto Shrink Plastic!

My Top Tip........
When you have some sewing projects you need to buy for don't go to the fabric shops...the lining for this bag was a dress I got from a charity shop for £3 - and there's loads left!

My Top Tip

Always use the rule of three when designing your layouts.  Use groups of odd numbers 1,3,5 etc when placing flowers/elements etc. and to add interest, mentally divide your page into nine squares (3 up 3 across) and set your main image offset instead of centred.
Unless you have a very good eye, set your greetings/sentiment slightly askew too - better deliberate than accidental!
