We are all so going to miss you xxxx
This weeks challenge is fabulous picture tutorial from the very talented Vee, which is a 'In the Frame' tutorial. Therefore, our challenge this week is:
FRAME IT
As long as your image, centrepiece etc has a frame (backing) to it, then you can enter it into this challenge!
OUTSIDE THE FRAME TUTORIAL
Good morning everyone, and a Happy Top Tip Tuesday to you all. I'm Vee and I have prepared a picture tutorial to show you how to have part of your image "OUTSIDE THE FRAME".
So lets get started you will need the following....
Stamped image or digi image printed, die cut frames of your choice, small scissors, and a craft knife.
I would normally use a sitting image for this technique but today I have used this pretty image from Robyn's Fetish who are one of our sponsors this week.
***********
Take you image and decide which part you would like outside the frame. I decided to have the dragon fly outside.Place you frame over your image to get an idea of where to cut. Loosely cut round the part of the image that you want outside, stopping where you think the frame will be. Slip the frame underneath the cut part, making sure you position it where you want the image to be within the frame. You may have to cut further at this point, just move the frame around till you get it positioned where you want it.
Place in you cutting machine and it should look like the one above.
Cut in the normal way.I usually have my frame cut side down so that I can make sure it's in the correct position.
Now you can cut round the part that is outside the frame, you might need to use a craft knife for this bit depending on your image. Now you can colour the image and mount it. I have used scalloped oval Nesties.
Under the dragonfly I have used sticky fixers to make it stand out on the card.
A really simple way to make your images stand out on your cards.
Here are a few other cards that have been made with this technique all with sitting images. The principal is the same, cut the legs first and slide the frame under before cutting and then mount your image.
I hope you enjoyed this weeks tutorial and look forward to seeing all your lovely creations in our challenge.

from DigiSparkle!
Hi, my name is Heather Sparey and DigiSparkle is my 4th child! (5th if you include my DH). I am a stay at home mum and I enjoy papercrafting and card making as it gives my a little bit of 'me' time.
DigiSparkle came about because I have limited funds so I can only afford stamps now and then so I decided to create some of my own. I hope you like the result! Please checkout my blog 'A Sprinkle of DigiSparkle' and tell me what you think of DigiSparkle's designs, if there are any themes you struggle to find (I can but try...) and I would love to see any creations that feature a DigiSparkle design!
